I’m back with another Dita cardigan review! So I know it’s been quite a while since the Dita Von Teese Cardigan by Wheels and Dollbaby was released in the shade National Velvet, but as a few sizes are still available on the website I thought I’d share my thoughts and many pictures.
I also recently wore it and fell in love with it again so I wanted to take some nice photos of it. This is my 5th cardigan from the collaboration, I also have the Emerald Green, Rouge Noir, Gold and Black on Black colourways.
The popularity of these cardigans has waxed and waned since they were first released 10 years ago. At the moment the prices seem to be quite low on Ebay, so if you’ve been thinking of purchasing one this is probably an ideal time. I won an auction for an older colourway for only $140NZD including shipping, this is almost half retail price and practically unheard of! Some of the rarer ones have sold for up to $600 in the past.
I just love the luxurious details on these. With the finely pleated satin ribbon on the sleeves and collar to the velvet bow and buttons, it’s so much. They are so easy to wear for special events to as they are so easy to dress up. With black embroidery a black pencil skirt works so well!
I’m not one for lighter coloured clothes but I do love this. I often wear it with the Beasame American Beauty lipstick as the touch of pink matches the lilac well. Owning these cardigans has actually really helped me with tying nice bows! At first it could take me a good 5 minutes in a mirror trying to get something to look alright but now I feel like I’m a whizz!
I’ve found that the National Velvet and Black colourways released this year are a little softer than previous releases. My previous ones were already very comfortable, I’m not sure if it’s the dye or what but it’s great! It isn’t something a lot of people might notice or care about but since I’m always handling fabrics I do like it.
I do love that they are embroidered on the back. Sometimes it’s a bit disappointing when a great piece of clothing has detail on the front but is plain on the back. I found the embroidery on mine to be fine but I did see that a few people were having issues with thinner or patchy embroidery.
I always wear mine tucked it but it’s a pretty good length to have un-tucked. I’ve seen some women wear them out over black capris and it’s such a gorgeous look! I never really considered it myself but I might after these photos.
I wear the size 10 even though my bust measurement is between a 10 and 12. I very rarely wear it buttoned so it isn’t an issue for me. It’s also pretty stretchy
It’s still available on the Wheels and Dollbaby website here, but only in a size 16. There are still a few online if you hunt around as well. I think although they are expensive they are worth it. They are a great thickness for transition seasons like Spring and Autumn, and as I’ve mentioned so easy to dress up or down. They are so timeless and a great staple!
Well May the Month of Lingerie has just finished and I thought I’d recap it here! I didn’t do weekly posts like last year as I just haven’t had the energy recently.
It’s so much fun every year and my favourite thing is definitely the community! There’s now a Lingerie of the Month instagram account which is definitely one to follow if you are into lingerie. I discover so many new people to follow at the end of every month! Each month a theme is selected for people to play with and post pictures of their related lingerie. As I’ve said it is very fun and there’s such a loving, kind and inspiring group of ladies who run and participate in it!
For day 1 I wore the Dita Von Teese Madame X set in white, this is the high-waisted brief and the soft cup bra and an old favourite. For day 2 I went with one of my old reliable Pleasure State White Label sets, Layla Belle. The lace of these knickers is so delicate feeling but very durable and comfortable.
Day 3 became a two-part post, by the way this is Pleasure State White Label – Izobel Dakota set. Two days in and I was getting ridiculous amounts of harassment from men. I almost wanted to quit May the Month of Lingerie even though it was only a few days in! I think I might need to do a blog post discussing this issue. The image didn’t seem to change much though, but it did get some passionate ladies agreeing with me!
Day 4 was Pleasure State Couture’s Theodora Skye which you can read about my love for in previous year’s posts.
Day 5 comfort was priority and I went with a Bendon brand sports bra and some Kiss Me Deadly knickers from the Fuchsia Sirena set.
Day 6 was also pretty comfy with Stella McCartney’s Viola Dozing set.
Day 7, my baby the “Metropolis” set, a.k.a Pleasure State Couture’s Hazel Bijou. It’s a bit small for me now but I am looking to attempt to find it in my current size.
Day 8 felt pretty special as I pulled out this old set of lingerie I made myself a few years ago! It is made of black velvet with a patterned mesh back and bright red cotton lining inside! It fits me really well and I want to get into wearing it more. This picture is also officially my most liked on instagram with over 1,100 likes! So crazy! I’m also wearing the Glorified Girl suspender belt by Dita Von Teese and contrast lace stockings by What Katie Did.
I missed out day 9, I was in a rush to get to work and by the time I got home it was too dark to take pictures and I was pretty exhausted.
Day 10 featured my What Katie Did Cathedral bra which I’ve previously reviewed on my blog here, as well as some basic black lacy briefs by Lyric.
Day 11 got 2 pictures as I was so inspired by ladies looking beautiful in pantihose and also wanted to feature what I was wearing underneath. This is the Triumph Poesie set, which I’ve also previously reviewed as well as possibly Bonds pantihose in bright blue! Though it did remind me why I rarely wear them.
Day 13 featured the Guilded Genie Teddy by Pleasure State. I wasn’t having a great day so I just lounged around in this. This is also probably one of my favourite pictures from the whole month too!
Day 14 was simple and I wore an Elle Macpherson (now Heidi Klum) Body set. It’s always easy though I do get frustrated by the elastic rolling up on the bra.
Day 15 was Glorified Girl from Dita Von Teese. I know I previously raved about this set but I’m just not in love with it any more. It doesn’t help that the bra and brief are now too small, I just hate how low rise the underwear are!
Day 16. I don’t recall the name of this bra but I believe it was an Elle Macpherson style. The briefs are by Essence which are actually a New Zealand brand! They are deep and comfortable which I love.
Day 17 I hadn’t had much energy so I pulled out all the stops to help myself feel better! I wore the Evollove Night Sky Contour bra, with a deep shaping suspender belt and knickers made by me! These are some of my favourite pieces and I am looking to produce more later in the year. Also wearing Columbine Misty stockings.
Day 18 was another old favourite Dita Von Teese set. I’m not sure of the name of this but I am obsessed with the bra fit. It’s a little small for me now (as are most of my bras) but I need this in my new size, I’ve owned it in 2 so far!
Day 19 I went with this What Katie Did Cathedral bra again, it’s a more relaxed fit as it has no underwire. I am also wearing Acapella briefs from Farmers and Levante Stay-Ups.
Day 20, I was so excited to wear this new Evollove bra! It fits me! I’ve recently gone up a cup size and I’ve found most of my underwire bras quite painful because of this. I didn’t keep the tag and it was in the clearance section so I can’t find the name, but it is the same as their other 3-part cup bras. Also blue cotton Bendon briefs.
Day 21 was another handmade set I had completely forgotten about. It was censored for instagram of course. The mesh is super lightweight and the bra definitely needs some strap alterations if I want to start wearing it more as they were very loose.
Day 22 I went out to a lovely high-tea with the Wellington Pinups. I wore my same Evollove and Suspender combo and matched them with some Paranoire Mystery pants! Also more Columbine stockings.
Day 23 a rather old Elle Mapherson bra which was such a retro style to it! I also wore What Katie Did shaping knickers, mainly because I was near the end of my wash cycle and these vaguely matched!
A bodysuit only day for day 24. I made this so long ago but I still have many metres of this fabric. It is super soft which made this super comfortable. I really like how the back looks.
Day 25 was greeted with more Dita! The bright pink Parisienne bra, I couldn’t find the matching briefs so I went with these Evollove ones which match my longline bra.
Day 26 I wore my velvet bra again as well as the lacy Essence briefs. I also wore these super cute and cosy socks as it’s starting to get rather cold! I don’t remember the brand, but I am such a sucker for anything snowflake patterned or Nordic inspired.
Day 27 I went for the Kiss Me Deadly Violet Divine set. The longline bra looked great under a snug stretchy dress and leggings. I really need to continue The Great Longline Bra Quest but I don’t really have the disposable income and it’s hard to fit in with my ethical shopping!
Day 28 called for Saturday comfort so it was just these floral print lacy Jockey briefs which I have had for many years.
Day 29 was another no bra day! This time I wore the white colourway of these Essence briefs. I bought them in a Kirk’s sale for only $8 each, such a bargain and I should have bought like 10 pairs!
Day 30 I was back in Paranoire. I wasn’t feeling amazing so of course I needed this set for support. I’ve started doing yoga so I’m hoping if I can accomplish an impressive move I will take a picture wearing this set! Also at some point soon I’d love to get back into pole dancing and again I can see posing in this looking magnificent.
Day 31, the finale! Today I wanted to finish with a bang so I picked this Maison Close bra! This chain fringing is amaaaazing. It was the first time I’ve worn it under clothes and it was fine and didn’t actually show up. I definitely want to wear it more now! I also wore my much less glamorous Lyric underwear again.
Well that was May the Month of Lingerie 2016! It was the 3rd year it was held and I took part. I always really enjoy it and it’s good practice posing and doing more with my camera. I am also hugely proud to say I did not edit a single one of these pictures! Previous years I have photoshopped out visible stretch marks and scars but this year I fully embraced them. As always thank you to the wonderful and magnificent Lady Bellentina for creating such a fun thing to do!
I’m thinking of also writing a piece on the harassment I received this year. Boy was it a struggle to get through it, and I definitely had to take on a few men. Let me know if you’re interested but I’ll probably be doing it anyway.
I am of course enamoured with Dita Von Teese as most of us vintage ladies are, and recently Wheels and Dollbaby released their latest Dita Von Teese Cardigan! This has been a collaboration between Dita and the brand for the past 10 years. The cardigan has rose embroidery and 3/4 length sleeves and if often released alongside the Wheels and Dollbaby seasonal releases. This is the Rouge Noir colourway.
This is going to be a very picture heavy post as this cardigan deserved better than my hallway as a setting so I went up into the forest near my place.
I own the Emerald Green Dita cardigan, but so far these two are the only two I own. They are highly sought after and if you look for past releases on Ebay you’ll be lucky to find one for less than $350, and can sometimes go for up to $600!
I love the plush velvet ribbon and buttons, though I find tying the bow quite tricky.
I love the colour of this cardigan. I think it is the perfect colour for autumn and winter, though sadly it’s coming into spring here. But I will still definitely be wearing it whenever it is cool enough!
I’ve heard a lot of people complain about buttons falling off and it is such a shame that so many mass produced items have machine stitched buttons. I haven’t actually had any fall off because I don’t unbutton it. I always wear it with a keyhole and I always have my bottom buttons done up. The only one I do button is the top one, obviously, and I find it pulls on and off over my head easily enough.
I decided to wear it with one of my favourite skirts which has a hand painted look floral design and has false quilting. I’m also wearing Pamela Mann dotted stockings which are one of my favourite pairs to wear.
This cardigan can pill after a few wears, as I experiences with my emerald one, but they are easy to remove. They aren’t very noticeable anyway as it only happens in places where the fabric rubs together such as under the arms, or if you wear tight fitting clothes over it.
I adore the small patch of embroidery on the back, I really don’t like things which are only patterned on one side. Also the embroidery is a nice high quality, it’s thick and very sturdy. I think this is one of the main reasons this cardigan has such a high price tag. Embroidery is a very long process and even done on machinery it seems to take an age! This image is also probably the best representation of the colour.
Also a little unrelated note – I’ve gone back to wet setting with pincurls and I have to say I am loving the outcome. I get beautiful voluminous curls which last all day. I also feel like they look very authentic as you can see in this picture
Also worth mentioning is the satin ribbon pleating around the collar and on the sleeves. It’s very neat and always even. I think it would have been nice if it was made of velvet, but I think this would be a bit too bulky and also harder to work with. It’s also nice that the shine of it mirrors the shine of the polyester thread of the embroidery, it definitely fits in well on the garment.
The Dita Cardigan is definitely one of my all time favourite pieces of clothing and I think every pinup should have at least one in their wardrobe. It’s a good idea to sign up the the Wheels and Dollbaby email newsletter to keep in the know, they don’t send a lot of emails and they have gorgeous clothes.
This cardigan cost me $250 NZD including postage so it’s definitely a special piece. I think the quality and the embroidery definitely justify the price. However on the webstore it is only available in a size 10, so quick quick if you want one! I wear a 10 and have a 35” bust and a 27” ish waist and it fits very well.
Finishing tip – to get matching lipstick I simply mixed my American Beauty lipstick by Besame Cosmetics with some black lipstick. It has the same base colour so darkening it makes it the same shade as the Dita!
On Sunday morning I woke up and stared at my bra rack deciding which one I wanted to wear. Then it hit me that I really didn’t want to wear any of them! My What Katie Did cathedral bras were drying from a wash and I was partway through repairing the lace on my Parisienne Longline bra.
I am a huge lingerie lover and I didn’t know what to think when suddenly I didn’t like any of the gorgeousness surrounding me. The bras I have in my current size have all been bought in the last 2 years, and although that doesn’t seem like a long time my daily style is different to how I dressed then. 2 years ago I was also only 17 and still in high-school so it’s no wonder! I used to swing between goth and vintage styles daily but these days I am dressed vintage styled 99% of the time (but that doesn’t stop most of my wardrobe still being black). Now that I dress differently I am more interested in bullet bras and nylons than push up bras and pantyhose.
So today I am sharing with you my current lingerie lusts, the things I desire to be on my body under my clothes right this second. They are mostly vintage inspired pieces but some are just stunning things I cannot resist.
If you are a size 32D/10D then follow me on social media, as I think I’m going to be having a little bra clearout to declutter and make way for new pieces.
I have previously talked about my love for the ‘Glorified Girl’ range by Dita Von Teese in a previous blog post. I so far have the Strapless Plunge Bra, the Suspender Belt and the Bikini Brief. I would like to collect the Full Brief and Longline Bra so I can have a set with more coverage, and also Longline bras are the best. I hate all my old low rise underwear and I just feel that all briefs should be high rise!
I’ve had the Madame X black Underwired Bra (now too small for me) and Bikini Briefs as well as the white Non-Wired Bra and High Rise Briefs. My white set is by far my favorite and Madame X is definitely not a style to be overlooked. I bought my bra in a 32C but because of the soft cups the sizing is flexible, and because the briefs are adjustable at the waist it means you can still have a good fit if you are a curvy lady. I really need to get the pieces in all colourways – so far there have been 6 so I have a lot of catching up to do! It’s nice to have a comfy set of lingerie which is also edgy and makes you look amazing.
Next up is this breathtaking set by What Katie Did. The Merry Widow is actually a vintage reproduction from an original garment but updated to use modern materials. I really like all of the Gwendoline pieces and would probably purchase the Bra, Merry Widow and Panty Girdle to mix and match. I would also buy extra detachable suspender straps so that I could add more loops to the pieces and have more suspension.
I’m really into longline bras at the moment as they are so comfortable and mean you don’t get any lumps which tend to happen if you wear stretchy tops and are a little squishy. This Kate Longline Cone Bra seems like a great everyday basic which I could with any of my black underwear. Also having front hooks and eyes would make it so much easier to put on. It also has nice soft points so you’re not likely to put an eye out with it.
Yet more What Katie Did (but can you have enough?)! This time it’s the Carole set which I think looks gorgeously dark and comfortable. We are entering the warmer months at the moment and I could definitely see myself lounging on the couch wearing only this in the height of summer. The Cone Bra would be a nice silhouette to have in my arsenal and French Knickers are so exciting to wear. I’d probably have to ask them about sizing for them though due to the large difference between my waist and hips.
I own the Pinup set of lingerie which My Retro Closet released a while ago and have been meaning to add this updated set to my collection. The contrasting red satin gives a delightful pop of colour and the circle stitching is a great detail. This set looks so comfortable I could quite happily lounge in this on a fur rug, but I could also see myself wearing this under floaty chiffon blouses. It’s nice to see a vintage inspired piece which is so easy to wear and fits in well with a modern lifestyle.
I haven’t actually seen any vintage ladies talk about Carnival Bras so I’m definitely interested in trying this one out. Yet another front closure longline one. I like the lace and paneling detailing of this bra. Although I’m a sucker for black, I love the look of the Champagne coloured one too. There’s a great close up photo on HerRoom of this bra and I really like how traditional it looks. It also seems to give the model a nice subtle pointed shape. This brand has been around since 1947
I already have the Retrolution Plunge Bra and Waist Cincher but recently I saw a picture on instagram of the swoon-worthly Lady Bellentina trying on the Retrolution Corset and now I am desperate to acquire it. Although I tend to be a bit corset-snobby I do love how the busk works on this piece, and it’s interesting to see on a softer garment. I think this would be a great piece to ease people into both corsets and longline bras. It has the busk fastening at the front as well as hook and eyes at the back. If you didn’t like one of these you could probably take it to someone to get altered, or do it yourself if you’re a dab hand at sewing.
This lingerie set was actually just listed today but I knew I had to add it to the list. I already have other pieces by Paranoire and they fit superbly. This is another set which would be great for lounging and also for living in. I would love to see a boudoir shoot with this (perhaps I will have to arrange one). Also that solid silk and swiss dot contrast, that is a winning combo!
Now we are moving onto the more modern pieces I desire, I discovered this one, thanks again, to Lady Bellentina. This set is also available in Black and Navy, but this Emerald colour is so gorgeous and different. I might need it in all colourways though. It would look great under the Emerald Green Dita Von Teese Cardigan by Wheels and Dollbaby worn with a large keyhole. I love the sleek strappy details and I think this would look incredible under a black lace top as well. Also excuse me zip front fastening you are far too exciting (pssst, the briefs have a zip up back 😮 )
To finish off my list I have the Semi-Bespoke Sayuri set by Karolina Laskowska. You can bet if I ever come into a large sum of money somehow this is what I’ll be spending it on. The strappy detailing combined with the vintage kimono silk and sheer mesh is almost too much. I adore that you get to pick your fabric from a variety, it makes it that much more special and worth the price. The waist of the briefs is adjustable, again a huge plus for curvy ladies. There is actually so much which can be adjusted in this set! The Sayuri bra also features interesting sizing as the back has adjustable straps, allowing 6 inches of adjustability. This means a perfect band fit as you can adjust it to fit you which is great for people like me who float between band sizes. This design is so unique and eye catching that it’s hard not to feel like you need. But I feel like if I owned it I would simultaneously never wear it and wear it everyday without clothing.
So there’s the list of lingerie currently on my lust-list. A couple of years ago I just wanted all the lingerie I ever found attractive but now I’m leaning toward pieces that fit in better with my lifestyle. I also like being able to support ethical manufacturing. Katie of What Katie Did works closely with all the factories which manufacture their lingerie. My Retro Closet, Paranoire and Karolina Laskowska lingerie are handmade by the designer which is great to be able to support.
I was planning to post this during May the Month of Lingerie but time just flew by. I thought it would be a while longer before my next TLQ post but I saw that Farmers were having another huge Thursday sale including 50% off clearance, so this has happened.
Anyway today I will be talking about the ‘Parisienne’ longline bra from Dita Von Teese’s lingerie range. This is the Black/Vintage Pink colourway and it is a very light blush pink.
I am usually between a 32D and a 30DD, and I bought this in a 32D. The band is a little too big and I had to wear it on the tightest hooks from the start. I would say the cup size is pretty accurate however the centre gore didn’t lie flat on me, so sometimes I get a bit of gapping from the bra pulling away.
The bra is 3.5” long measuring from under the underwire. This just skims my waist and I think I would prefer just an extra half an inch to secure it properly. I find this size fit’s my 27” waist quite comfortably on the tightest hook and I think it would be okay on someone with a slightly smaller waist as well.
Here is a close up of the strap detail ♥. Isn’t this just the cutest! A tiny velvet bow is sewn onto each of the straps, which are also velvet. The straps are actually velvet sewn onto knit fabric strips with lace edged elastic sandwiched between. They are very substantial which is nicer than just a flimsy elastic. I also find the positioning of them very good. I have a lot of trouble with straps falling off my shoulders even when tightened properly but I haven’t had that once so far with this bra.
Speaking of detail this bra has a tonne of them! The pale pink stain on this set has parallel black stitching detail all over it which I really love as it makes the fabric look less flat which happens often with satin. Also the faggoting(stitching in the open slit of the cup) detail on the cups is to die for. I didn’t realise but supposedly this detail is only featured on D+ cups and it is otherwise smooth. I looked at pictures and most of the bras on the models are missing this. I also love the different textures and patterns on this bra- there is the satin with stitching detail, a delicate floral lace overlayed on matching pink mesh, a spot mesh overlayed on the same pink mesh and a black mesh to finish off the back.
Also I can’t move on without mentioning *ahem* velvet covered underwire casing and boning channels. Swoon-worthy much?
It also has quite a low back which is always a plus as there is no risk of a bra flash with lower cut dresses.
Now it’s time for the (not so) Brief briefs overview:
I always wear my suspender belt under my underwear for ease, but here’s a side by side comparison of it first on top of the underwear, and then underneath. It looks a lot better over top of the briefs and since it has a hook and eye closure at the back I think I might just wear it over the top in the future. It was also designed with the suspender belt to be worn on top as all of the velvet stripes align that way.
The suspender belt is pretty good. My only complaint is that it is only a 4 strap, so my stockings don’t feel very secure, and as you can see in the pictures they droop pretty badly. I probably won’t use it unless I am wearing the whole set because of this. Also I would hate to see how twisted my seamed stockings would get. Other than that it is really nice. I bought this in a size 10 and wear it on the loosest or middle set of hooks, I have a 27” ish waist. I find it has some light shaping capabilities which is a nice extra.
And here’s a picture of the set without the suspender belt. Are you crying at those briefs yet? Because I sure am. It features the same paneling on the front as the rest of this set and it is very flattering as they are narrower at the waist and wider at the hips. This helps to create the illusion of more curves, which is always welcome! But the back, oh my god. The top half is black mesh which is shirred up the centre back and finished with a little velvet bow at the bottom. Then it has a panel of the spot mesh on the lower half which has to be the cutest ‘sneak peak’ ever! I bought these in a size 12 and I find they fit well around my 42” hips and aren’t too loose at the top. They are about an inch or two too short to reach my waist but I really like the height they come up to. I find a rise that comes to around my high hip is very flattering on my body.
This set is in the clearance section of Farmers at the moment so if you can find your size than lucky you! The bra is also available on Stylebop but with the matching Bikini brief and Girdle instead of High waisted brief and Suspender belt. Other places online will have this set but you may have to hunt around a little. Also I am wearing Columbine stockings in the shade ‘Misty’
Finally another installment of The Longline Bra Quest! I love this bra so much, it is comfortable, looks amazing and is very practical for what I want. I just feel like everyone need to own this bra, I feel amazing in it. I am by no means done though! Hopefully I will have a new longline bra to show off sometime in July.
May the Month of Lingerie is now over! It was sooo much fun to take part in again and I will definitely do it next year. I will try to make a blog post this coming week about my thoughts and experiences taking part in the last couple of years.
Dita Von Teese ‘Parisienne’ set in Black/Vintage Pink. I think this might actually be my new favourite lingerie. It is super comfortable and looks absolutely gorgeous! I am going to publish a blog post this week reviewing the set. I’m also wearing Columbine stockings in Misty.
A lacey mish-mash today. I am wearing the Evollove Night Sky Contour bra, Dita Von Teese ‘Glorified Girl’ suspender belt and Surprise Panties from Paranoire. I love these underwear and will definitely be buying more of them, I love the excitement of not knowing what you’re getting and knowing it is going to be amazing quality. I have liked Paranoire for years but only just got around to buying some, but I think I will definitely have quite a swag come next year’s May the Month of Lingerie.
Today is Pleasure State Couture – Theodora Skye, one of my favourite sets of lingerie. I love the silver and blue contrast and the sparkling swarovski’s and silver eyelash lace, swoon~. This was my first impulse love and ASAP buy set and I have no regrets.
Evollove – Twilight Dream in Blue Star print. I am posting early today since I am going to my parents house to see my sick cat this afternoon and evening. This is my ultimate comfort lingerie. The bra is so comfortable with perfectly fitting thin cups, also the briefs feel weightless. I haven’t found another colourway of this style I’ve liked so far which is a shame because I would definitely buy it again.
Today was a very hard day, just wearing Stella McCartney – Viola Dozing briefs as my underwear today. I hope to get the matching bodysuit at some stage, and I would love it if they would release this set in black.
This is a picture of my cat who I visited yesterday, and today he passed away. His name was Fnuf. It was very sad for me as I have known him for the last 17 or so years. He was originally a stray cat who neighbours of ours occasionally fed but I had a strong attachment to. My mother and I are both very allergic to cats so a few years ago I built him a house for him to live in outside and he stayed with us. He was such a handsome cat and I have ordered a Cuddle Clone to remember him by.
I needed more comfort lingerie today. I’m wearing Stella McCartney – Tammy Tickling. I really like having my comfy soft cup lingerie for days like this. And I don’t feel I look too lazy since the flocked bows make such a nice detail.
Today I managed to put makeup on, which was a bit of a struggle to be honest. Today I’m wearing the Kiss Me Deadly – Violet Divine multiway bra and briefs, as well as their matching Opaque Violet stockings. I’m also wearing a cheap VooDoo suspender belt as it was the only one I have that didn’t clash with the rest. I loooove these stockings, so cheap for the quality as they are so comfy and stretchy and soft and I need like all the colours.
Feeling good today and this might be my favourite photo so far! I’m wearing the Pleasure State Couture – Chloe Abigail Bodysuit in Chili Pepper. I’ve wanted this bodysuit for so long and I was at a Bendon Outlet store yesterday and I found it for only $20! I would have preferred a medium but for that price a small is more than adequate!
Today I’m wearing my new Pleasure State White Label – Izobel Dakota set. I love this lace, metallic gold and black go together so well
I wanted to wear something fun and interesting for my last day, but I had to get up early for a photoshoot and then I had a lunch/shopping meetup with some lovely Pinup ladies so by the time I got home I was super exhausted I just needed to lounge.
I’m just wearing a Jockey bodysuit which has cute lace detail at the hips with my Levante Velatissima Nylon Stay-ups.
Well I hope you all enjoyed my May the Month of Lingerie! I have a fair bit of other lingerie I didn’t get to show off but this was a nice selection. I have definitely been inspired to post more of my good lingerie days on instagram after this, so follow me there if you are interested!
Until next time.
