Black as Midnight on a Moonless Night – Sugar & Vice

Hi all,

I am finally back for another blog post. I have been so busy coming to the end of my studies and I actually graduate next week! I will hopefully have a post up about my graduation next week and then I have a tonne of reviews ready and waiting!

Today I’m reviewing this gorgeous Twin Peaks inspired necklace by Sugar & Vice, a UK jewellery and apparel brand.

The necklace came shipped in this little cardboard box with the Sugar & Vice logo stamped on it. I love keeping my jewellery in it’s own boxes and packaging and it stops them getting all tangled together and lost.

I adore this necklace to bits! Anything Twin Peaks I am all about, as soon as I saw Two Lippy Ladies were getting these in stock I knew I HAD to have one. The quality of this piece is amazing, the acrylic is thick and sturdy and it is very well put together. The engraving is an extra touch of quality, I am always worried about printed things wearing and rubbing off so it’s great not to have to worry about that!

I love the size of this necklace, it’s such a statement and it means everyone can see it! I don’t wear a lot of jewellery as I find it a hassle and not a lot of it really resonates with me. This piece being monochromatic means it goes with absolutely everything! I can wear it with my most perfect Red Room dress, or a basic black top and skirt. It’s versatility and style is great, and it’s also great for attracting fellow fans of Twin Peaks.

This was $45NZD from Two Lippy Ladies including couriered shipping! I have already gotten so much wear out of it. I couldn’t find this necklace on their website, but Two Lippy ladies have the Cherry Pie and Red Room necklaces in stock which are incredibly tempting!

I am wearing it with a hair bow from Made with Love NZ and a vintage velvet dress.
